Coldest Night of the Year – Sussex

The Sussex Sharing Club is inviting the community to bundle up and take part in the Coldest Night of the Year, a national, family-friendly winter walk supporting people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness.

📍 Location: Start/Finish at Sussex Legion
📅 Date: Saturday, February 28, 2026
🚶 Distance: 2 km or 5 km walk through town
Residents are encouraged to walk alongside friends and neighbours in support of the Sharing Club’s important work. Following the walk, participants will enjoy a warm, light meal and music.
Organizers note that 100% of net proceeds raised in Sussex will stay local, directly supporting Sussex Sharing Club programs and operations.

4:45 pm – Muster & Opening Remarks
5:00 pm – Walk Send-off
6:00 pm – Light Meal Served
